Calls for Contributions to the Blog towards the Congress

For over a year, some fifteen members of the WAP have been meeting under the name of the Elucubratorio to work on the architecture of a blog that addresses the theme of the Congress on the sexual non-relation in various ways. Now, the Elucubratorio invites you to join them in bringing to life the rubrics that have been set up.

DESAFINADO

The speaking being does not just speak, we sing or play music. Since it cannot be written, could the sexual relation be transferred to the register of hearing? How do the field of music and the real of psychoanalysis approach one another, hook up, or even harmonise? Let us wager that it is from what is desafinado that each piece of music develops, uncovering what does not accord, or veiling it with harmony.

For you, what music resonates with the theme of the Congress? Which notes have touched you? Raise your voice and share your musical encounters, your experiences, or your epistemic reflections!

  1. Texts must be written in one of the five languages of the WAP: French, English, Spanish, Italian, or Portuguese.

Some things do not need a comment. They seem to say it all. Like a punctuation that both closes something and opens a new perspective. That is the encounter with the unconscious: a failure or a lucky find. It can take an epic form or the form of a Witz, produced by the well-said. It can also be a mystery, which gives a special place to knowledge while making perceptible the impossible to write.

For this rubric, we are looking for images (still or moving): the representation of an art object, an excerpt of a clip, film or video, or the simple visualisation of a one-liner, a cartoon, a joke…. Nothing else.

Whether these images are tragic, comical or mysterious, they should all bear the mark of an encounter, possible and failed at the same time, based on the non-existence of the sexual relation.

  1. Send the image or video to blogamp2026@gmail.com
  2. In the email, include your name, the title of the work (if there is one) and the name of the author/artist (if you know it).
  3. Email subject line: NO COMMENT.

LES NON-RAPPORTEURS DEL MONDO

Since the birth of psychoanalysis, the world has changed a lot. So-called civilised morality, Freud's compass for regulating the non-existent relation between the sexes, has fallen into abeyance.

What can be said about the present moment? How do speaking beings orient themselves or lose their way today? Participate in this research by reporting in detail on a phenomenon, whether little-known or fashionable, that you have noticed in your city, your country, or in the virtual world you sometimes visit.

THE MOUNTAIN CHALET

It is impossible to create a blog around the theme of the Congress without preserving a space where nothing has been written before, where invention and surprise will be the rule!

The Mountain Chalet is the section with no pre-established programme, which will host only a non-limited series of unsorted contributions, each of which will have its own section.

For its part, the Elucubratorio is currently developing its first project, and we are very curious to see where it will lead. What about you? Do you have an original idea for approaching the theme of the Congress, would you like to do a reportage that no one else has thought of, do you want to start a new line of research? Send us your ideas, propose a project that you would like to carry out yourself, or challenge the Elucubratorio to make it happen – with no guarantee.

  1. Describe your project in 1000 characters, including spaces: What would you like to do yourself or suggest we do? Give reasons for your proposal. Projects must be written in one of the five languages of the WAP: French, English, Spanish, Italian or Portuguese.
  2. File name: Chalet – Surname – initial of first name – original language. e.g. for Lisa Debruyne, Dublin [Ireland]: Chalet-Debruyne L-EN.
  3. Word document, Times New Roman, size 12, single spacing.
  4. At the top of the page, write your email address and telephone number.
  5. Choose a title for your project that is different from the title of the section.
  6. Below the title you have chosen, write your name and, if you are a member of a School, please indicate which one.
  7. Send your proposal to blogamp2026@gmail.com
  8. Email subject line: MOUNTAIN CHALET
